Services

Due to wide range of areas of expertise and specific needs of our clients, our services and their costs are tailor made.

About us

Europlace is a consultancy specilised in the areas of European politics and law, acting as a connection between an entrepreneur and the EU institutions. We base our expertise on extended experience and contact network in Brussels, including EU institutions as well as consultancies and lobbing firms.

Research

We conduct extended research of the EU policy within the area of client’s interest. Our reports are tailor made and include previously set scope of work, starting from history, through European law in force, ending with plans for the future.

Monitoring

We conduct regular monitoring, constantly observing what is on the agenda of all European institutions. We are up to date with all the planed, discussed as well as implemented changes. The scope and the frequency of monitoring is set individually.

Analysis and consulting

Regular monitoring and thorough analysis of the activities of all European institutions as well as political changes, taking place in the European Parliament or member states themselves, enable efficient management of the future of your business. Entrepreneurs become aware of the direction of European policies and are able to prepare their businesses for legal changes or to react at the right stage of legislative process, inter alia through application for exemption.

Liaison - client representation and relationship building with EU institutions

Thanks to our contact network in Brussels, we are able to provide our clients with confirmed, often still unofficial, i nformation, what makes us up to date with all the changes planned by EU institutions. Contact with EU officials as well as knowledge of the EU structure enables us to react at the right moment, when the planned policy is exceptionally unfavorable to our client.

EU’s new data protection law (GDPR) and your non-EU company. Why should you be concerned?

With the GDPR making headlines in Europe, not enough has been said about the new regulation applying to non-EU companies. European General Data Protection Regulation will come into force on May 25th 2018 and is already well-known for introducing high revenue based fines. The GDPR was designed and adopted by the European Union to protect the privacy of its citizens. Therefore, it applies also to non-EU controllers and processors of data. If you are offering goods or services to customers in the EU, if you process or monitor their data, it’s about time you start preparing for the new law.
